Incoatec was founded in 2002 as a spin-off of the GKSS Research Center in Geesthacht near Hamburg (today HZG - Helmholtz Center Geesthacht) and in a joint venture with Bruker AXS. In addition to being an OEM supplier for Bruker AXS, they offer tailor-made solutions directly to end customers as well.

Incoatec develops, produces and supplies components for X-ray analytical systems. These components include optics, mirrors, and microfocus sources for applications in x-ray diffraction, x-ray scattering, and x-ray spectrometry. We offer solutions for chemistry, pharmacy, semiconductor industry, heavy industry, life science and nanotechnology, enabling our customers to make better use of their resources and improve their results. Using our extensive know-how in thin film technology together with our in-house mechanical and electronic workshops, we are able to provide reliable, efficient and environment-friendly products: Made in Germany.

X-Spectrum GmbH is dedicated to providing cutting-edge detectors for X-ray experiments at synchrotrons and beyond. It provides the LAMBDA system, a dedicated X-ray camera that is unique in its capabilities. X-Spectrum not only provides the camera itself, but also dedicated IT equipment and software for seamless integration into the most common synchrotron beamline control systems. We firmly believe that detectors can be easy to use, plug and play devices. Our team is experienced in setting up in many different environments and we believe in support to the experimentalist. X-Spectrum is a DESY spin-off.

Mass Spectrometry Instruments Ltd ( MSI ) specializes in high performance magnetic sector double focusing mass spectrometer Instruments. It has inherited the technology from Kratos Analytical who were the pioneer in introducing the commercial sector mass spectrometers way back in 1957. Since then the advancement of the technology and need for high precision, high resolution instruments has risen exponentially.

Mass Spectrometry Instruments is now based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, UK, having moved from Altrincham in late 2005. The unique combination of our diverse but highly skilled workforce results in a focused company dedicated to high resolution mass spectrometer design and manufacture. It has achieved a high quality product being an ISO 9001 certified company

greateyes develops, manufactures and markets high-performance scientific cameras. They are used as precise detectors in a wide range of imaging and spectroscopy applications. Furthermore the company manufactures electroluminescence and photoluminescence inspection systems for the solar industry.

greateyes was founded in year 2007 as a spin-off from Humboldt-University Berlin and then quickly developed to an international acting company. Today it has strong customers in research and industry from many different countries.

Our passion is the continous advancement of our unique camera technology and associated products. Our central goals are satisfied customers, innovation and good team spirit.

Advacam designs, manufactures and sells digital material resolving color X-ray imaging cameras for non-destructive inspection in oil and gas, aerospace and electronics industries. In these industries, high quality lightweight materials are the key construction elements for modern vehicles or lighter devices. Inspection and quality assurance for defects, impurities or cracks in these materials is therefore important. With Advacam’s cameras challenging defects such as deep laminate wrinkles, kissing-bonds, delaminations, porosity, foreign objects and micro-cracks in the soft materials can be detected with spatial resolution of 55 µm or better.

Microworks GmbH was founded in 2007 as a spin-off from the Institute of Microstructure Technology (IMT) at the Karlsuhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany. It serves with high-precision microstructures made with X-ray and laser LIGA technology. The core competence in the micro-nano structure field is X-ray lithography which allows the highest aspect ratios and a precision well below 1µm within a wafer and from wafer to wafer. Possible applications range from gratings for phase contrast imaging, watch parts, micro-gear trains, hyperbolic electrodes, alignment fixtures, clip connectors, precision sieves, near-IR filters (frequency-selective filters), micro-springs, RF-MEMS, etc.
